A tragic incident unfolded on the outskirts of Chandapur village in Hatnura Mandal, Sangareddy district, Telangana, as a chemical factory was engulfed in flames following a reactor explosion on Wednesday, April 3.
The explosion, which occurred at approximately 5 pm local time, resulted in a devastating fire. Reports indicate that at least five individuals have lost their lives, while many others are feared to have sustained injuries. Numerous workers were reportedly trapped within the blaze.
According to a senior police official, the explosion originated from a reactor at a pharmaceutical company, causing significant damage and throwing nearby individuals in its wake. As of the latest updates, relief operations are actively underway in the affected area.
