Hyderabad: Tata Technologies has joined forces with the Government of Telangana to transform 65 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into Skill Development Centers. This strategic collaboration aims to upgrade these ITIs with the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, courseware, and trainers, thereby enhancing technical proficiency and employability.

The upgraded ITIs, now designated as Skill Development Centers, are set to offer 8 long-term and 23 short-term courses tailored to meet the demands of Industry 4.0. It is anticipated that these centers will annually train over 9,000 students in long-term courses and more than 1,00,000 students in short-term courses at full capacity.

Tata Technologies, a global digital services company, has signed a 5-year Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Government of Telangana, committing a total of Rs 2324 crores to modernize the ITIs.
