A threatening message was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police, asking for Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan because of an issue with Lawrence Bishnoi.

The sender warned that if Salman wanted to stay safe and end the problem, he had to pay.

The message said his situation would be worse than Baba Siddique’s.

In response, the Mumbai Police have launched an investigation and heightened security at Salman Khan’s residence.

On Thursday, police apprehended Sukha, alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh, a member of the Bishnoi gang, in connection with a plot to kill the actor. He was arrested in Panipat by the Navi Mumbai Police.

Officials revealed that Sukha had reportedly contracted Bishnoi gang members to kill Salman Khan and was in contact with a handler based in Pakistan, known as Dogar.

Plans to carry out the attack allegedly involved the use of AK-47s, M16s, and AK92s.

On April 24, the Navi Mumbai Police filed a case against 18 people for a shooting outside Salman Khan’s house in Bandra.

Important suspects include Lawrence Bishnoi, his brother Anmol, Sampat Nehra, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Godhara. Investigations showed that around 60 to 70 gang members were tracking Salman Khan and watching his homes in Panvel and Bandra, as well as his film locations.

The Bishnoi gang has reportedly attempted to employ minors as sharpshooters and has also been importing weapons from Pakistan.

Salman Khan has filed a complaint asserting that the Bishnoi gang was responsible for a recent shooting incident at his home.

Following this, the Mumbai Police submitted a charge sheet detailing the threats made against him.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has received threats. In 2024, two people tried to break into his farmhouse with fake IDs.

In 2022, he got a threat letter left on a bench near his home. In March 2023, the Bishnoi gang sent him an email threat.
