Ilyas Khan, an RTI activist, has requested the government authorities to stop the land encroachment activities and illegal construction works at 2.5-acre land situated at Survey No 37/1 Himayatsagar Road in Gandipet mandal, Rangareddy district. In a letter to the government officials, he urged them to fix the boundaries of the said plot through Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA).

He alleged the government land has been encroached with the support of revenue officers, Municipal Corporation and concerned police station. He requested for setting up the village boundaries after completing a survey through the CCLA. He also suggested erecting the government land boards to protect further, stop the work and take action against the encroachers.

“My father Yousuf Khan is a patttedar of 4.5-acre land situated at Survey No 37, Himayatsagar village in Gandipet mandal. In which, 1.29-acre land has been taken by the government for Nehru Outer Ring Road (ORR) and paid the compensation amount as well.
