Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's recent visit to the US was aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between India and the US.
He met with National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to discuss key strategic issues and engaged with US defense companies at a roundtable organised by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
Singh encouraged collaboration with Indian firms to advance the Make in India initiative.
He also held discussions with US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin, reviewing and exploring ways to enhance defense cooperation.
The visit included the signing of two significant agreements: the Security of Supply Arrangements (SOSA) and a Memorandum of Agreement for the assignment of Indian officers to US commands.
Singh’s visit concluded with interactions with the Indian community in the US, highlighting the deepening strategic ties between the two nations.
