Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Assistant Agriculture Officer: Must have a B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized university.

Research Officer: Must have a second-class Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in subjects like Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Chemistry, Entomology, or Soil Science.

Additional Requirements

Must know Hindi (Devanagari script).

Knowledge of Rajasthan's culture is also important.

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025)

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 40 years

Relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per rules.

Application Fees

General/OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600

SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwD: ₹400

Applicants from other states must apply under the General category.

Selection Process

Written Examination:

The exam will have two parts:

Part A: General Knowledge of Rajasthan

Part B: Subject-specific questions

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Merit List: Candidates will be selected based on their exam scores.
