Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and philanthropist, met with Prime Minister Narendra modi on Wednesday. They bandied a variety of motifs including artificial intelligence( AI), health care, and husbandry. The discussion centered on India's technology advancements and the country's vision for development in 2047.

Gates acknowledged India's progress across various sectors. I had a great conversation about India's progress, the road to Viksit Bharat 2047, as well as exciting advancements in AI, health, agriculture and other sectors which are making an impact today. Gates stated that it is impressive to see the progress India has made locally and globally through innovation.

Bill Gates posted a response to PM Modi's post on X. He called their meeting "excellent", and highlighted their discussions about technology, innovation and sustainability.

"It's always a pleasure to meet you Bill Gates!" The discussions we had on the topic of innovation, sustainability and Viksit Bharat 2047 were very enriching. India is committed in leveraging technology to create a better tomorrow for everyone," PM Modi wrote on his Facebook page.

Meetings With Key Leaders

Gates met with several high-ranking leaders during his India visit. He met with Union Health Minister J P Nadda in order to bandy the collaboration between Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Indian Government and their sweats to strengthen healthcare systems. Nadda said that India has made great progress in the areas of motherly health, vaccination, and sanitation thanks to the support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Nadda stated on X that "we look forward to renewing the memorandum, which will further our commitment to ensure affordable, accessible, and quality healthcare for every citizen."
