Prime Minister Narendra Modi has virtually inaugurated six new Vande Bharat trains from Tatanagar Junction, Jharkhand.
These new routes include Tatanagar-Patna, Brahmapur-Tatanagar, Rourkela-Howrah, Deoghar-Varanasi, Bhagalpur-Howrah, and Gaya-Howrah.
With a total of 54 Vande Bharat trains now in operation, they have collectively completed around 36,000 trips and served over 3.17 crore passengers.
The latest Vande Bharat 2.0 models offer advanced features such as quick acceleration, Kavach safety systems, anti-virus technology, and onboard WiFi.
This expansion highlights the success of India's 'Make in India' initiative and aims to revolutionise rail travel with improved speed, safety, and passenger experience.
