PM Internship Scheme 2024: Apply for 80,000 Internships for Youth Aged 21-24

Exciting news for young people aged 21 to 24. You can now apply for the PM Internship Scheme, starting this Saturday.

This scheme offers over 80,000 internships in 737 districts across24 different job sectors.

The goal of the PM Internship Scheme is to help 1 crore young people get internships at top companies over the next five years.

In just a week, many companies have listed more than 80,000 positions in areas like oil, gas, travel, hospitality, automotive, and banking.

Maharashtra has the most internship opportunities, with over 10,000 positions. Other states with many opportunities include Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.

Some big companies taking part include Mahindra & Mahindra, Alembic Pharma, and Max Life Insurance.

There are also companies like Jubilant Foodworks and Larsen & Toubro joining in.

If you apply, make sure to check your messages, as some users had trouble receiving important messages during registration.

Shortlisted candidates will find out if they got an internship between October 27 and November 7.

You can accept your internship offer from November 8 to November 15. If you say no to your first offer, you’ll get two more chances to choose.

This program will start with 1.25 lakh candidates and will cost around Rs 800 crore.

The selected interns will receive a stipend of Rs 4,500 a month from the government, plus Rs 500 from the company, and a one-time amount of Rs 6,000 for extra costs.

To apply, you need to have completed high school or hold certain certificates and degrees, like ITI, B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, and more.

There are specific rules about family income and professional qualifications that you should check to see if you are eligible.
