Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced that the H1B visa issue is no longer a concern during a meeting in New Delhi.
He said it won’t be discussed in future international talks, and the focus will now shift to other areas of business and partnerships.
During his visit to the U.S., Minister Piyush Goyal met with important business leaders to talk about bringing more investments to India, especially in the medicine and diamond industries.
Surat, a city known for diamonds, was mentioned as a special area for this investment.
In Washington, Goyal met with 17 top business leaders, including people from Tata Sons, to strengthen business ties and sign important agreements.
He also met with small businesses, teachers, and experts to discuss working together on clean energy, technology, digital communication, and defence.
Talks about science and technology are still going on, but discussions about biofuels are moving slowly because of the upcoming U.S. elections.
They also talked about keeping the exchange rate between the Indian rupee and U.S. dollar steady to help trade between the two countries.
