Onus Robotic Hospitals opens new cardiology department

Hyderabad: Onus Robotic Hospitals, a Cardiac Multi-Specialty hospital on Sunday launched a new cardiology department. The department was inaugurated by Telangana State Planning Board Vice Chairman G Chinna Reddy.
Founded in 2018, the 30-bed Onus Robotic Hospitals provides electrophysiology services, cardiac rehabilitation, and round-the-clock emergency care. In 2020, it expanded to 50 beds and started offering Aarogyasri and EHS services.
During the launch, Founder and MD, Dr Balaraju Naidu highlighted the advanced technology available in the new department. “We have a team of highly skilled cardiologists, nurses, and technicians. The facility includes a cutting-edge Cath lab, imaging equipment, specialised cardiac surgery suites, and more. We offer daily tests, non-invasive treatments, complex heart surgeries, and interventional procedures. To date, we have performed over 6,500 surgeries and treated 1.35 lakh patients,” he said.
Dr Lakkireddy Kiran Kumar Reddy, Head-Cardiology Department, added, “With our advanced technology and experienced team, we can address cardiovascular issues in a patient-friendly environment. We offer treatments ranging from preventive care to handling the most critical heart conditions.”
N Prakash Reddy, Managing Director, Telangana Tourism Development Corporation; Yakutpura MLA Jaffer Hussain Meraj; Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala, and Achampet MLA Dr Vamsikrishna were the chief guests. IS Sadan Corporator Shweta Madhukar Reddy, former IS Sadan Corporator and Swapna Sundar Reddy were present.
