Oman Air freight service connects Hyd to Muscat

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport on Wednesday said that Oman Air, the legacy airline of the Sultanate of Oman has launched its maiden freighter services from the city. Operating two weekly flights on Tuesday and Saturday, Boeing B737-800BCF is connecting Hyderabad and Muscat. The flight will depart from Hyderabad at 2 pm with a one-way capacity of 22 metric tons.
With this new launch, an additional weekly capacity of 88 metric tons gets added from Hyderabad Airport. This service will boost the export of pharmaceuticals and hatching eggs shipments from the city.
