Nepal Bus Tragedy: Forensic Examination and Relief Efforts for Indian Pilgrims

Raksha Khadse met 16 Indian nationals who were injured in the road accident.
A bus carrying 43 Indian pilgrims plunged into the Marsyangdi River in Nepal, killing 27 and injuring 16. The victims, from Maharashtra, were on a 10-day tour.
The bodies are being examined at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan, and will be flown to Nashik once the process is complete.

One passenger is in critical condition, while others are stable. Further treatment in India is being considered.

The crash occurred at Aanboo Khaireni, about 90 km west of Kathmandu. The cause of the accident is under investigation. The bus was part of a group of 104 pilgrims from Maharashtra.
