Manasi Ghosh Wins Indian Idol Season 15, Bags Trophy and ₹25 Lakh Prize

Manasi Ghosh was declared as the winner of the singing reality show Indian Idol season 15. She was awarded the trophy along with the prize money of Rs25 lakh. She defeated Subhajit Chakraborty as well as Sneha Shankar to win the prized trophy.

Making the rounds on X (formerly Twitter), Sony TV shared a picture of Manasi when they announced the announcement. The caption reads "After months of magic, music, and moments Manasi won more than the title, she also won millions of hearts (black heart emoticon)."

How Manasi reacts after the huge victory

Following the win, Manasi said that it isn't yet a reality that she been awarded the show. Manasi was previously a second place during Super Singer season 3.

In a conversation about her win on Indian Idol, she said to Indian Express, "My family was present to watch the final. They were cheering and crying. I was a bit confused and didn't know what to do. We are all very happy. The world has changed in a positive way. It's a global platform and I've received lots of support and blessings from around the world."

Indian Idol winner Manasi explained how she is intending to make use of the money she won. She stated, "I want to use some of the prize money to fund my independent music, as well as the car I'm planning to make use of."
