Mallik elected FAPCCI chief

Visakhapatnam: In the 51st AGM held on Friday, Kankatala Mallikharjuna Rao, Chairman of Kankatala Textiles in Visakhapatnam, was elected as the president of Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI).
Mallikharjuna Rao, popularly known as Mallik, is a dynamic businessman of Visakhapatnam with a great vision. He established retail outlets and opened 16 stores spread from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and New Delhi, which are famous for textile and exclusive silk sarees. Online store is his brain child.
Kankatala Silks was the first AC showroom here. He diversified his business activity into building construction in 2004. Mallikharjuna Rao holds BSc from AVN College and BL from Andhra University and received gold medal for taxation subject.
