Maharashtra And Jharkhand Election 2024: What Exit Poll Says

Election results 2024 live: Soon after the conclusion of polling on November 20, exit polls were predicted to be won by Mahayuti in Maharashtra.

If we talk about the parties, the contest in Maharashtra is largely bipolar. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), in alliance with Ajit Pawar-led NCP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena under the ruling Mahayuti banner, is contesting against the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, comprising the Shiv Sena (UBT), the NCP (Sharad Pawar) and the Congress party.

According to Exhibit 1 of Maharashtra Election 2024, which is based on the average of nine polling agencies, it predicts that the BJP-led Mahayuti, which holds the majority of 150 seats, would win a landslide victory Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), on the other hand, is anticipated to fall behind by 125 seats.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the reigning JMM-led India Alliance are competing in the state. The NDA is leading by 39 seats, according to the average of eight polling organisations, but 41 seats are needed to secure a definite majority, the report stated.
