Lawrence Bishnoi: The Gangster Behind the Headlines

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is making headlines across India following the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.

Although currently incarcerated, his brother and followers are reportedly continuing their gang activities from Canada.

Recently, Bishnoi's cousin, Ramesh Bishnoi, disclosed several sensational details about him.

Ramesh revealed that he never expected Lawrence, who studied law at Punjab University, to become a gangster.

He stated that their family spends over ₹40 lakhs annually on Lawrence's needs, despite his imprisonment.

“We have always been a wealthy family. Lawrence's father served as a constable in the Haryana Police, and we own about 110 acres of land in our village. Lawrence has always worn expensive clothes and shoes. Even now, our family spends ₹40 lakhs for him while he is in jail,” said Ramesh.

Lawrence Bishnoi was born Balkaran Brar in the village of Dhattaranwali in Ferozepur district, Punjab.

He changed his name while in school. During his time as a student leader at the university, he became involved in various anti-social activities.

His life took a darker turn after his girlfriend was burned alive in a gang war at DAV College. This incident is said to have pushed him further into crime.

Lawrence Bishnoi became well-known in 2018 when he was accused of planning to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan with his associate, Sampath Nehra.

Even though he has been in jail for several years, Lawrence still talks to his followers using smuggled cell phones. He plans attacks on famous people this way.

The police think he was involved in the attacks on Sidhu Moosewala and Baba Siddique.
