Hyderabad: The Indian Steel Association (ISA) said the second edition of the ISA Steel InfraBuild Summit (IBS 2024) was held in Hyderabad on Friday. The one-day summit covered the current

landscape of steel construction practices, challenges, solutions, advancements, and the benefits of further integrating steel-based structures into the construction and infrastructure sectors.

The event, supported by the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, and the

World Steel Association, witnessed line-up of speakers such as Nagendra Nath Sinha , Secretary - Steel, Government of India; Naveen Jindal, president of the Indian Steel Association and MP (Lok Sabha); Amarendu Prakash, Chairman of the Steel Authority of India Ltd, and Jayant Acharya, Joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Steel Ltd.

Alok Sahay, Executive Head, Indian Steel Association, said: “The ISA Steel InfraBuild Summit 2024 is a platform for discussing the significant role of steel in the future of construction and infrastructure in India.
