Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has granted approval to prosecute Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in relation to the MUDA scam under anti-corruption legislation.

Siddaramaiah is accused of orchestrating the fraudulent allocation of land plots to his wife, Parvathi, involving a swap of less valuable land for prime plots.
