ISRO Proba 3 Mission Launch Delayed
Originally slated for today, the launch of the PSLV-C59 Proba-3 mission has been rescheduled to tomorrow.
Proba-3, an innovative mission designed to study the Sun's corona through precise formation flying, will now lift from India's Satish Dhawan Space Center aboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV)-C59, ISRO's reliable workhorse. Furthermore, allowing people worldwide to watch it, ISRO will live stream the launch from their official YouTube page.
According to the statement on its X account, the Indian Space Research Organisation said, "Due to an anomaly detected in PROBA-3 spacecraft, PSLV-C59/PROBA-3 launch rescheduled to tomorrow at 16:12 hours."
The launch originally scheduled for December 4 will lift off at 4:12 PM from Satish Dhawan Space Center on December 5, 2024, marking a historic collaboration between the European Space Agency and Indian Space Research Organisation.
Furthermore, this collaborative endeavour not only promises to yield new findings about the Sun but also emphasises the necessity of global cooperation in pushing the boundaries of human knowledge.
