Instagram has recently introduced a new feature, known as “Story Comment,” allowing users to post comments on stories. This update was announced earlier during the launch of Creator Lab in India and has since been confirmed via a post on the official Creators account.
The introduction of this new feature will give users an easy way to connect with friends and spark conversation via Insta comments in Stories.
Here’s the catch of the new feature
By default, the new feature comes with a catch.
Story creators can control who can comment on their stories by adjusting their privacy settings. To enable or disable comments, go to your Instagram settings, select "Privacy," and then "Story." From there, you can choose to allow comments from everyone, only people you follow, or no one at all.
The new feature comes in addition to Story replies and reactions with emojis, which are, however, sent privately via direct message.
So, now with this feature, you can leave comments on Instagram Stories with ease.
