Infosys has introduced a new hiring method. The organisation will no longer send employment offer letters and attachments via email.

According to the report, this step is intended to curb fraudulent recruitment practices while enhancing the overall hiring experience and promoting a paperless process.

In fact, the IT giants are looking for both fresh graduates and experienced candidates.

New notification: Infosys careers page

When prospects visit the Infosys careers page, they will see a new alert stating: "Important notice—Infosys offer letters and related documents are only available on their career site."

Applicants can access it with their credentials. Since the firm will no longer send emails with linked offer letters. For additional information on validating an offer letter, visit https://career.infosys.com/offerValidation."

Key reasons behind the change

The purpose of this upgrade is to limit the danger of fraud, especially in light of ongoing challenges in the Indian software industry with delays in onboarding new employees. Additionally, this new hiring method aligns with Infosys' sustainability initiatives and efforts to transform the workplace.

In its FY24 ESG report, Infosys said: “Our new design focuses on health and wellbeing, productivity, social connect and inclusiveness, while also ensuring environmental sustainability. We are deeply committed to being a well-governed, environmentally sustainable organisation where diverse talent thrives in an inclusive workplace."
