IKP Knowledge Park joins BFI-Biome network programme

IKP Knowledge Park, a premier science park and incubator, announced strategic alliance with Blockchain for Impact (BFI) to join the BFI-Biome Virtual Network Programme. Under this collaboration, innovators and entrepreneurs in biomedical research and innovation will be nurtured to accelerate technology-driven healthcare interventions and outcomes.
The MoU was exchanged between Dr Deepanwita Chattopadhyay, Chairman and CEO, IKP Knowledge Park, and Dr Gaurav Singh, CEO, BFI, in the presence of Dr Sridhar Ramanathan, vice president, IKP, Dr Satya Prakash Dash, Senior Advisor, BFI and Dr Pooja Agrawal, Programme Director, BFI.
Sandeep Nailwal, Founder, Blockchain For Impact, said: “With a dedicated $15 million programme for advancing Biomedical Research and Innovation in India, the BFI-Biome initiative aims to bring leading researchers, technologists, and innovators together in the form of a network to discuss, identify, collaborate, and innovate in the biomedical sector to solve pressing health challenges.”
The BFI-Biome Virtual Network Programme is an initiative in bringing research institutes and incubators together on a common platform to foster stakeholder collaborations in the translational pipeline. Through this programme, BFI will allocate over $225,000 over three years, leveraging IKP Knowledge Park’s expertise to develop technologies for accessible and affordable healthcare.
