Hyderabad: SCR To Run Additional Trains To Sabarimala Pilgrimage To Clear Rush

Hyderabad is gearing up to facilitate the massive influx of Sabarimala pilgrims, with the South Central Railway (SCR) announcing plans to run 34 additional special trains to clear the extra rush.

Accordingly, the Secunderabad-Kollam (07175) train will run on December 19 and 26, while the Kollam-Secunderabad (07176) train will run on December 21 and 28.

The special trains are equipped with 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper Class and General Secondary Class coaches and will operate between various destinations, catering to the huge demand for transportation during the peak pilgrimage season, said SCR officials.

These trains will connect various destinations, including Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Moula Ali, Kacheguda, Kottayam, and Kollam.
