According to Aseem Sharma, General Secretary, IIPC (Indian International Photographic Council), the awards have been classified into three categories - LIIPC, AIIPC and FIIPC. IIPC International Honours Committee released the IIPC International Honours 2023 list, on August 19, 2023, commemorating the World Photography Day.
Shamsuddin and 10 other Indian photographers are going to be honoured for their work. The Chief Editor of Snaps India will receive the award in the ‘Photo Journalism’ section under the AIIPC category for his immense contribution to the profession.
