HSL decries campaign to tarnish its image

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), a premier shipbuilding yard under the Ministry of Defence, has stoutly denied a campaign by some vested interests to tarnish its image.
“It is understood that some of the members who were associated with HSL providing false information about the company to the print and electronic media without verifying the facts, in an attempt to tarnish the company’s image,” the company stated in a statement on Monday.
“It is in our best interest to clarify that HSL is a source of pride for Vizag city and is progressing on a growth path. Any dissemination of false information will impact our customers, contractors, vendors, MSMEs and society at large,” HSL said, asking the media to check facts before publishing anything against the company.
