Visakhapatnam: Alcove Partners, A Hub (Andhra University Incubation Council), TiE Vizag and Teckybot hosted the 9th hackathon in their HackAP Hackathon series which drew a huge response with the youngsters showcasing their problem-solving skills.
The two-day event, held on March 23 and 24, focused on the theme of arts and culture and attracted 22 teams from various educational institutions and companies in the region.
The hackathon provided a platform for participants to showcase their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in designing solutions for real-world challenges. The teams worked tirelessly to create prototypes, presentations and demos, which they presented to the judges on the final day of the event. On the whole, the programme became a big hit, A Hub CEO Ravi Eswarapu told Bizz Buzz on Monday.
On March 24, after the semi-final and final rounds, a valedictory was held. Trophies and certificates were handed out to the top three teams, which demonstrated creativity
and innovation in their designs. The first place was bagged by Team Avatar (NVS Seshasai, Manikanta). The second prize went to Team Desk Champions (Sai Sneha Yellumahanti, Neha Sree Sana, Uday Kumar Chittiboyina, Murtinty Vishwanath Kalyan Chakravarthy) from Dr Lankapalli Bullayya College.
