Google's Gemini App All Set To Make A Debut On iOS

A dedicated Gemini app for iPhone users is on the way. In the Philippines, users have identified the Gemini app in the App Store as per 9to5Google. Even though users can access Gemini on iOS through the Google app, it does not have a specific app on Android. This hints at the testing phase that Google is running regionally before the actual reveal.

The new application will boast a new interface for Gemini on iOS and a host of features, including a Gemini icon on the home screen, a shortcut for quick access, and support for the Gemini Live feature, as per the report.

This standalone app will allow the users to access Gemini Live, enabling continuous conversations with the chatbot, according to the App Store listing. Staying active in the background, Gemini Live will use the Live Activity feature on iOS.

Even though Google has not made any official announcements regarding the release of the Gemini App on iOS, it is projected to be released in the coming weeks.
