FLO, YFLO gets new chairpersons

Hyderabad: The FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) Hyderabad Chapter held their annual session and change of guard ceremony at Hotel Park in Hyderabad. The event focused on advancing women’s leadership and witnessed the induction of new chapter heads.
Marking a new chapter, Priya Gazdar and Ridhi Jain were sworn in as the new chairpersons of FLO and YFLO, respectively, for the 2024-25 term.
Gazdar outlined her vision for the year, emphasizing the economic and social empowerment of diverse groups within society. “When women prosper, the entire world prospers,” she stated, highlighting her goal to cultivate change-makers within each FLO member.
Echoing the sentiment of collective empowerment, Ridhi Jain, the new YFLO chair, unveiled her theme for the upcoming year: ‘Evolving heroes to rise empower, and thrive.’
The annual session, titled “future of global women leaders,” featured a thought-provoking discussion between leadership expert Farzana Haque and Ritu Shah, the outgoing FLO Chairperson for 2023-24. Haque, a champion for women’s empowerment, emphasized the importance of financial independence for women.
