First Electric Royal Enfield in line ahead of EICMA on November 4

EVs have become a buzzword in the modern-day scenario. This has led upon automobile makers to aggressively make their place in the EV industry. Royal Enfield, a multinational motorcycle manufacturing company, is all set to make its entry into the EV sector.

The company officially teased the electric bike on its social media pages. It showcased a bike being lifted in the air by a parachute with the caption saying “//04.11.2024// Save the Date.”

Royal Enfield's new electric motorcycle will be revealed at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. Taking its retro styling legacy ahead, the bike will include girder forks, front and rear fenders, headlamps, and indicators, on the design front.

Boasting a single-seat design, the bike's electric motor will rely on a battery. In addition, it will feature alloy wheels, round mirrors, an aluminium swingarm and a circular instrument panel. The bike will be built on an "L" platform, which will serve as a groundwork for the development of future models.

The Chennai-based company is collaborating with Stark Future SL, a Spanish electric two-wheeler manufacturer for future electric models. Expanding their EV line, the two makers are also developing an electric adventure bike. It is likely to be named the "Himalayan Electric".
