The epicenter of the earthquake was located at 28.83°N latitude and 76.96°E longitude, with a depth of 5 kilometers beneath the surface. Regions including Rohtak and Panipat reported noticeable tremors alongside Sonipat.
Preliminary reports from local authorities confirmed there were no casualties or significant structural damage as a result of the earthquake.
