Diwali Bank Holiday Schedule:
- October 31 (Thursday): Banks in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal will be closed. Banks remain open in Tripura, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir, and Meghalaya.
- November 1 (Friday): Banks will be closed in observance of Deepavali, Kut Festival, and Kannada Rajyotsava in Tripura, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Manipur.
- November 2 (Saturday): Banks in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh will be closed for Diwali-related celebrations, including Bali Pratipada, Balipadyami, Laxmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, and the Vikram Samvat New Year.
Extended Bank Holiday Periods:
- Four-Day Closure (October 31 to November 3): Banks in Karnataka and Maharashtra will be closed for four consecutive days, from October 31 to November 3 (with Sunday included).
- Three-Day Closure (November 1 to November 3): Banks in Uttarakhand and Sikkim will observe a three-day closure from November 1 to November 3, including Sunday.
