Vijayawada: Credai SouthCon 2024 will be hosted by the Andhra Pradesh unit of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India here on August 24 and 25 to popularise sustainable practices and foster collaborations. Around 800 delegates from the Southern States are expected to participate.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to inaugurate SouthCon 2024 and release a report on the construction and present market scenario in South India prepared by JLL. Credai members from AP are expected to showcase opportunities in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Vijayawada and other places and the need to adopt sustainable practices in rebuilding the capital city of Amaravati.
At a press conference here Credai national secretary G Ram Reddy, national joint secretary B Raja Srinivas, AP chairman Alla Siva Reddy, AP president YV Ramana Rao, Sate general secretary Bayana Srinivasa Rao and SouthCon convenor D Rambabu, said the response to participate in the conference is quite encouraging.
The conference aims to unite key industry figures to share insights, tackle challenges and explore opportunities in the dynamic real estate landscape of South India. Key leaders and stakeholders will come together to drive progress, exchange valuable insights, and strengthen connections within the real estate community.
Ram Reddy said, “The South Indian States contribute 31 per cent to the national GDP with higher per capita income. These States are at the forefront of the technology, automobile, healthcare and startup revolution in the country and thereby attracting investments across sectors. This requires a focused approach towards building world class infrastructure as we move towards Viksit Bharat.”
According to Raja Srinivas, SouthCon 2024 has been planned with the objective to encourage the real estate developers in the region to come together to collaborate, innovate and adopt sustainable construction practices. Andhra Pradesh is at the cusp of rapid growth and transformation as they set up the new capital at Amravati.
