Complete eKYC to get Rs 2,000: PM Kisan 16th Installment 2024

The 16th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is anticipated to be released in February or March of 2024. Farmers are required to complete their online eKYC (Know Your Customer) process to receive the installment of Rs 2,000. The deadline for completing the eKYC is 31 January 2024. Failure to complete this process by the deadline will result in farmers not receiving the payment for the 16th installment.

PM-KISAN Yojana, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019, is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to farmers with cultivable land. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 per year is credited to the bank accounts of farmers in 3 to 4 installments of Rs 2,000 each.

The eligibility criteria for the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme include individuals who own cultivable lands registered in their names. Exempted from the scheme are state and central government employees, institutional land holders, working or retired officers, and pensioners receiving more than Rs 10,000 per month.

To register for the PM-KISAN Yojana, farmers can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website, pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Go to the Farmers Corner on the home page.

3. Click on 'New Farmer Registration'.

4. Choose either rural or urban farmer registration.

5. Fill in required details such as mobile number, Aadhaar number, state name, etc.

6. Click on 'Get OTP' and submit the received OTP.

7. Fill in additional details like bank account information, personal details, state name, district name, etc., according to Aadhaar Card.

8. Complete 'Aadhaar Authentication.'

9. Enter land information and upload necessary documents.

10. Save the information.

To complete the online e-KYC of PM-KISAN Yojana, follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website, pmkisan.gov.in.

2. Click on the eKYC option on the right side of the page.

3. Enter Aadhaar Card number and captcha code.

4. Click 'Search' and enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

5. Click 'Get OTP' and enter the received OTP to complete the eKYC.

To check the online status of PM-KISAN Scheme:

1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in.

2. In the Farmers Corner, click on 'Beneficiary Status.'

3. Enter the required details and click 'Get Data' to view the PM-KISAN Scheme status.

4. Download, save, and print a copy for reference.
