CM Revanth to attend WEF meeting in Davos
The Telangana government is expected to sign several big-ticket investment deals and MoUs

Hyderabad: To showcase the investment potential of Telangana and attract new investments, AnumulaRevanth Reddy, the newly elected Chief Minister, will attend the Annual Meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) at Davos, Switzerland, from January 15-18.
Telangana Industries and Information Technology Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu will accompany the Chief Minister during the visit. This will be the CM’s first overseas visit after taking charge as of the Chief Minister last month.
An eight-member official delegation will travel with them. The delegation included CM’s Principal SecretaryV SheshadriandSpecial Secretary to Chief Minister B Ajith Reddy, besides Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Information Technology and Industries, as well as E Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Special Secretary (Investment Promotion and External Engagements).
The Telangana government is expected to sign several big-ticket investment deals and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the global political and business conclave. In addition, Revanth Reddy is expected to meet chief executive officers (CEOs) of various companies during the WEF annual meeting and invite them to invest in Telangana.
Jayesh Ranjan, who accompanied then Minister for Industries and Information Technology KT Rama Rao to WEF meetings on multiple occasions, briefed the Chief Minister’s Office about the format of the meeting and attendees.
The WEF’s 54th Annual Meeting will provide a crucial space to focus on the fundamental principles driving trust, including transparency, consistency and accountability. This annual conclave will see participation from over 100 governments, all major international organisations, 1000 forum’s partners, as well as civil society leaders, experts, youth representatives, social entrepreneurs, etc.
