CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Telangana on Friday announced its plan for the year 2024-25, which includes actively being involved in the framing of ‘The Telangana Vision Document 2047,’ and outlining a roadmap for the State’s future across key pillars.
The priority areas that CII Telangana has its focus on include human development through education, healthcare, and social welfare, fostering economic prosperity through agriculture, manufacturing, and innovation.
“Collaboration with global partners and effective governance mechanisms are essential for realising this vision. Telangana’s economy has demonstrated consistent growth, with the latest data for the fiscal year 2023-24 revealing a GSDP of around Rs 14.49 lakh crore ($175 billion). This robust performance surpasses the national average, underlining Telangana’s position as a frontrunner in economic development. The State aims for $1 trillion (Rs 85 lakh crore) GSDP by 2047,” said Sai D Prasad, Chairman, CII Telangana. He further said that to achieve this target, CII Telangana is working on a strategic plan for the year 2024-25 and beyond.
