Vijayawada: CII Vijayawada Zone organised a post-budget analysis here on Thursday by inviting experts from E&Y. Partner, EY Venumadhavi and Director Seshasayi V, Seshasayi V made a detailed presentation on direct and indirect taxes and the implications of the Union Budget 2024-25 on industry across all sectors.

Over 60 participants from across sectors participated in the session. Industry members actively participated and sought clarification and exchanged views on various aspects of the Union Budget. CII Vijayawada zone chairman DV Ravindranath in his address stated that the recent budget announcement marks a critical juncture in the journey, aiming to stimulate growth, foster innovation, and ensure sustainability. He opined that the budget is designed to address immediate needs while laying a robust foundation for long-term development.

CII AP past chairman D Ramakrishna pointed out that digital technologies have a profound impact on the finance sector. Fintech plays a major role in our day-to-day lives, where fixed deposits can be opened or closed through a few clicks on a mobile phone.
