'Bulldozer is on standby': Yogi Adityanath warns in Jharkhand
In the final stretch of the Jharkhand assembly election campaign, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a stern warning in Jharkhand. Speaking on Monday, Adityanath referenced the BJP's controversial "bulldozer" policy, despite recent Supreme Court guidelines against arbitrary demolitions.
During his address in Jamtara, Adityanath accused the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led coalition of rampant corruption and exploitation of the state’s resources. He claimed that the coalition government has been “looting” Jharkhand's natural resources and misappropriating funds provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also accused them of encouraging illegal immigration, which he said threatens local safety and resources.
“The JMM government has looted Jharkhand's natural resources and the funds sent by Modi. They have encouraged infiltration by Bangladeshi migrants and Rohingyas, posing a serious threat to ‘beti, mati, roti’ (girls, land, and food). Now, the bulldozer is on standby to reclaim the looted funds,” Adityanath stated, according to PTI.
Adityanath further alleged that the state's resources were being excessively extracted under the current government, which he claimed had allowed mafia activities to flourish.
He also accused the JMM government of supporting "infiltrators" involved in "land jihad" and "love jihad," and warned that a BJP victory would result in stringent actions against these elements. Additionally, he criticized the Congress, a JMM ally, for allegedly obstructing the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
The final phase of voting for the Jharkhand assembly polls will be held the day after tomorrow.
