BSNL has unveiled its brand new fibre-based intranet TV service called ‘IFTV’. Users availing this service can watch more than 500 live TV channels with IFTV.
Limited to just Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh for now, the newly launched service runs on BSNL's Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network.
While supporting various OTT platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Disney + Hotstar, and ZEE5, BSNL IFTV provides consumers with a detailed list of TV channels in HD. The IFTV service will be provided free of charge to FTTH customers. The company is also offering unlimited streaming to all the users.
Interestingly, BSNL’s IFTV service will not be using data from the subscribed packs of the users. Customers will have unlimited data for TV streaming.
IFTV is also accessible to Android phone users who use version 10 or higher. Users can download BSNL Live TV from the Google Play Store to avail the service.
The government-run telecommunication company launched IFTY to provide affordable and high-quality streaming services to its customers. Across India, the BSNL Live TV aims to provide hassle-free entertainment to millions of homes.
