Bengaluru commuters can look forward to smoother and faster travel with the upcoming Namma Metro Yellow Line, set for inauguration in May 2025. Operated by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), the new metro corridor spans 18.82 km, connecting Rashtreeya Vidyalaya (R.V.) Road to Bommasandra.
Designed to ease traffic congestion and enhance public transport efficiency, the Yellow Line will provide seamless connectivity across key commercial and residential areas. The route begins at R.V. Road Station in Basavanagudi and passes through major localities like Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, HSR Layout, and Oxford College, ensuring convenience for daily commuters.

Number of Stations: 16 elevated stations
Major Stops: R.V. Road, Ragigudda, Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, Central Silk Board, Bommanahalli, Hongasandra, Kudlu Gate, Singasandra, Hosa Road, Beratena Agrahara, Konappana Agrahara, Electronic City, Huskuru Road, Hebbagodi, and Bommasandra
Operational Hours: 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily
Fare Range: ₹10 (minimum) to ₹60 (maximum)
Construction of the metro corridor is progressing as per schedule, ensuring timely completion. Once operational, the Yellow Line is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve accessibility for thousands of commuters.
