BJP MP and former Karnataka Cabinet minister K Sudhakar announced on Tuesday that the Budget's proposal to upgrade the Bengaluru-Hyderabad highway to a 12-lane expressway will enhance the regional economy, particularly benefiting his constituency, Chikkaballapura.

He stated that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had agreed to take up the project soon after their recent meeting.

Expressing gratitude over inclusion of the project in the Budget, Sudhakar highlighted that the Union Budget reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a developed India, promoting prosperity for farmers, recognition for the middle class, and dignity of the poor.

The MP called the Budget a roadmap for building on the last decade's momentum, describing it as one of hope and empowerment, with PM Modi prioritising national interests over political ones.
