Attack on Allu Arjun’s House: Protestors Cause Damage, Police Investigate Incident
A tense situation unfolded at the residence of popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun in Hyderabad as a group of individuals reportedly attacked the property. Flower pots in the premises were destroyed, and tomatoes were hurled at the house. Allegations suggest that members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC) might have been involved, though police investigations are ongoing.
Stones and Tomatoes Thrown at Allu Arjun’s House
The attackers reportedly damaged several flower pots and shouted slogans, demanding justice. Eyewitnesses revealed that the group carried placards and chanted, "Justice must be done," before throwing tomatoes and stones at the property. Upon receiving a tip-off, the Hyderabad police arrived at the scene, detained the individuals involved, and launched an investigation into the matter.
What Sparked the Incident?
On Sunday evening, a group of people gathered outside Allu Arjun’s residence, demanding entry into the premises. When the house staff refused to open the gates, the mob scaled the walls, entered the compound, and caused damage. Security staff intervened, preventing them from entering the house itself, leading to a clash.
The protestors were reportedly demanding justice for the family of Revathi, a woman who tragically died in a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2. They also urged Allu Arjun to support Revathi’s grieving family and her son.
Police Investigation and Accusations
There are claims that the protestors were linked to the OU JAC, though the police have yet to confirm these allegations. Initial reports suggest that some goons may have joined the group and escalated the situation by throwing stones and tomatoes.
Video Evidence Released
Hyderabad Police released a video addressing the events that unfolded during the Pushpa 2 premiere. The video shows that police officers attempted to inform Allu Arjun about the stampede outside Sandhya Theater, where Revathi lost her life and her son was critically injured.
According to Chikkadapalli ACP Ramesh, the DCP approached Allu Arjun during the movie and requested him to leave immediately. However, the actor reportedly declined to leave before the movie ended.
Commissioner’s Warning on Bouncers’ Behavior
The incident has also drawn attention to the behavior of bouncers during the Pushpa 2 premiere. Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand issued a stern warning, stating that any misconduct by bouncers, including pushing the public, would result in serious consequences. He emphasized that celebrities are accountable for the actions of their bouncers and that agencies providing security personnel must ensure proper conduct.
As the investigation continues, Hyderabad police are working to identify the individuals responsible for the attack on Allu Arjun’s residence and determine their motives.
