Authorities have apprehended two individuals: 22-year-old Vishal Phukan from Dibrugarh and Swapnil Das from Guwahati.
Phukan, known for his extravagant lifestyle, promised a 30% return on investments within 60 days and established four fake companies.
Police raided Phukan's residence, seizing scam-related documents and are searching for choreographer Sumi Borah, also linked to the scheme.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma advised the public to avoid online investment schemes promising quick returns, highlighting ongoing efforts to dismantle the fraudulent network and enforce regulatory compliance.
