Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu released Bureau of Energy Efficiency’s (BEE) Mission LiFE poster aligning the State with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for sustainable development and pledged full support to the prestigious initiative, aiming to promote sustainable living practices, stimulate economic growth and ensure a reliable and high-quality electricity supply for all consumers.

The Chief Minister, while releasing a poster prepared by Adviser Wing of Southern States (UTs), BEE, emphasised his government’s dedication to eco-friendly practices like waste reduction, water and energy conservation and renewable energy use.

He declared that the focus of the TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh will be on energy efficiency and supply of quality power. He lauded Prime Minister Modi for spearheading an India-led global mass movement through Mission LiFE to promote environmental protection, highlighting its historic importance for India and the world. He also commanded BEE to promote the efforts nationwide.

One of the cornerstone objectives of Mission LiFE is to ensure that every household and industry has access to reliable and high-quality electricity and a better environment, he stated.

Special Chief Secretary, Energy K Vijayanand stated that under Chief Minister Naidu’s visionary leadership, Andhra Pradesh stands at the forefront of creating a cleaner and greener energy mix. He said with the coordination of State Energy Conservation Mission and Special Designation Authority of AP all departments are focusing on better implementation of Mission LiFE and energy efficiency activities.
