Young Indians Parliament regional round concludes

Visakhapatnam: The regional round of the Young Indians Parliament (YIP) held at GITAM-Visakhapatnam ended with great success bringing together bright young minds from across the region.

Organised by Young Indians (Yi), the event serves as a platform to empower youth by helping them understand the intricacies of India’s parliamentary system and inspiring them to take an active role in nation-building. Vizag MP M Sribharat, who was the chief guest, shared his experiences of working within the parliamentary system and passionately emphasised the critical role that awareness of parliamentary functioning plays in shaping informed and responsible citizens.

“By understanding how the parliamentary system works, you equip yourselves to actively contribute to the democratic process and make a meaningful impact on India’s development,” Bharat remarked. His words set the tone for the day, which was filled with interactive sessions designed to engage students in discussions on governance, democracy, and leadership.
