WhatsApp Governance Awareness Campaign

Amaravati: In a groundbreaking move to bring governance directly into the hands of citizens, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched “Mana Mitra”, a secure and citizen-friendly WhatsApp-based governance service. The public is encouraged to save the number 95523 00009 on their mobile devices to access a wide range of governmentservices with ease.

Starting from April 15, the State will launch an extensive door-to-door awareness campaign titled 'Mana Mitra at Every Home.' The village and ward

secretariat staff will visit each household across districts, assisting residents in saving the Mana Mitra number and demonstrating how to use the platform effectively. District Collectors will oversee the campaign’s implementation and monitoring, outreach materials and campaign strategy. To support this initiative, the IT and RTG departments have developed specially

designed brochures and informative video messages. These materials will be shared with families during home visits and circulated via WhatsApp and social media platforms at the village level.
