With the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan for Vaikunta Ekadasi scheduled from January 10 to 19, 2025, TTD EO J. Syamala Rao, along with additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary conducted a review meeting at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala. The review also saw the presence of JEO Veerabrahmam and CVSO Sreedhar. The meeting decided that Srivani Darshan tickets for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan will be available online from December 23 at 11 am, while Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets (Rs 300) for the 10 days will be released on December 24 at 11 am.
Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens will be distributed at eight locations in Tirupati and one in Tirumala for the duration of the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan. These locations include MR Palli, Jivakona, Rama Naidu School, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Indira Maidan, Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, Bhudevi Complex, and Kaustubham Rest House at Tirumala. The EO also instructed the Chief Engineer to arrange the necessary facilities at the token distribution centres. Only devotees with tokens/tickets will be allowed entry for darshan, while those without tokens can visit Tirumala but will not be permitted to join the darshan queues.
Protocol darshans are set to begin at 4:45 am on Vaikunta Ekadasi day, with Vedaseervachanam cancelled due to the heavy rush of devotees. A golden chariot procession will take place from 9 am to 11 am on Vaikunta Ekadasi. Additionally, Chakra Snanam will be performed in Srivari Pushkarini from 5:30 am to 6:30 am on Vaikunta Dwadasi day, January 11. There will be no special darshan for Govindamala devotees.
To manage the expected crowds, the police have been instructed to regulate traffic in Tirumala in coordination with TTD security personnel. The Annaprasadam wing will serve food from 6 am to midnight, offering tea, coffee, milk, upma, chakra pongal, and pongal to devotees. A daily supply of 3.50 lakh laddus will be available, with an additional 3.50 lakh laddus kept as buffer stock during the 10 days.
