Scope To Enhance Bilateral Ties With South Korea Discussed
Visakhapatnam: Issues related to visas, food processing and renewable energy came up for discussions by the trade and industry during an interactive programme organised by Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) with Chang Nyun Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea (Chennai). Seo-young Moon, Director General, Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency and others.
The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, and the possibility of exploring more trade and partnership opportunities between the State and South Korea. As AP has a strong foothold in sectors such as food processing, aquaculture and textiles, opportunities available for exporters from the State were discussed.
FAPCCI president Kankatala Mallikharjuna Rao welcomed the industry stakeholders. MP M Sribharat mentioned that the Government of Andhra Pradesh is very keen to explore business opportunities and requested Korean companies to establish food restaurants, tourism, and smart townships in Visakhapatnam.
Officer-bearers from CII, AP Chambers, Sea Food Association of India and Vizagapatam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) also participated during the interactions.
