Rashtrapati Bhavan to host Republic Day at home: Seating arrangements and special guests finalised

President Droupadi Murmu is set to host the Republic Day At Home event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, with special arrangements in place for the celebration. Indonesian President, the chief guest for Republic Day, will join the event alongside prominent guests including Opposition Leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Delhi CM Atishi.

The event will reflect the rich cultural heritage of South India, with decorations, music, and invitation cards inspired by southern traditions. Each invite will include a gift from one of the four southern states.

Seating arrangements have been finalized, with President Droupadi Murmu and the Indonesian President seated on golden chairs, while Vice President and Prime Minister Modi will sit alongside them. The President’s family and other distinguished guests will also be placed in the main circle.

Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and CM Atishi will be seated in the large circle reserved for members of the Council of Ministers and other special guests. Additionally, over 20 disabled individuals who have made significant achievements will attend, with special provisions made for the visually impaired to experience Rashtrapati Bhavan in an inclusive way.
