Rachakonda Police have issued an advisory for motorists traveling to Andhra Pradesh for the Sankranti festival, recommending alternative routes to ease congestion caused by increased vehicular traffic.

The stretch from Pedda Amberpet (Exit 11) through Choutuppal to Chityala is experiencing significant traffic buildup due to festival-related travel. To mitigate delays and ensure smoother journeys, travelers are encouraged to use alternative routes. For those heading to Chityala, an alternative route is available via Ghatkesar (Exit 9), passing through Bhuvanagiri, Waligonda, and Ramannapet.

Motorists traveling toward Guntur can avoid congested roads by taking the route from Bongulur (Exit 121) through Ibrahimpatnam, Mall, and Devarakonda to reach their destination. Authorities urge motorists to plan their journeys in advance and consider these alternate routes to minimize travel time and reduce traffic pressure on busy roads.
